Become a Member of the Southwest Celtic Music Association

The Southwest Celtic Music Association (SCMA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting, and celebrating Celtic music, dance, and culture throughout North Texas. Your SCMA membership directly supports our mission and helps fund concerts, workshops, scholarships for young musicians and dancers, the North Texas Irish Festival, and other programs and events throughout the year.

Membership payments are considered donations and may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, less the fair market value of any goods or services received in exchange.

North Texas Irish Festival 2-for-1 Admission
SCMA members may purchase one North Texas Irish Festival admission ticket and receive a second ticket of equal value FREE.

Members may receive up to two free tickets per day. Simply present your current SCMA Member ID card at the festival gate to receive your member benefit.

Your Membership Gives You a Voice
SCMA members have the opportunity to participate in the annual election of the Board of Trustees, which governs and directs the Association.

Board election ballots are distributed digitally by email in late August/early September each year. To ensure you receive your ballot—as well as The Ceili, event announcements, and other important member communications—please provide your best and most current email address when joining or renewing your membership.

Already a member? Be sure to let us know if your email address changes!

Members are also welcome to attend SCMA's monthly meetings, generally held on the first Wednesday of each month at the SCMA corporate office. Meetings are a great opportunity to learn more about the Association and hear how your support is helping promote Celtic music, sponsor workshops and events, provide scholarships, and strengthen the Celtic community throughout North Texas.
