Linda King has been a staple of the NTIF community for years now performing both as a solo performer, with her former band Amberhawke, and as a duo with Michael Harrison. Linda has studied and sung a variety of musical styles including not only Celtic but classical, pop and gospel and composes in a variety of genres. In Little Rock, she performs with Straw Cross, a female duo and Seisuin, a six-piece traditional Celtic band. A polished solo performer, she has sung at festivals, Renaissance Faires, pubs and other venues from Texas to California to Ohio and back. On children’s stages, Linda has used her unique blend of storytelling and song to introduce young audiences to Celtic history in schools, festivals, museums and libraries. Her special blend of children’s songs are enjoyed by young and old. When she performs, the Urchin Street stage expands to include the whole audience with noise makers and sing-along songs allowing the audience to become a part of the show!
