Threadneedle St was formed in 1990 by several North Texas musicians who had performed folk/Celtic music for years in the area. Its current members, Jim Brunke, Bobby Bush, Melina Schaffer, and Peggy Turner have played together for over 20 years now. Threadneedle St’s performance of the traditional music of Ireland and Scotland draws their audiences into a listening experience that reflects the joyful music making of times past when friends and family gathered together.

Jim, Peggy, and Bobby have performed or been involved with NTIF since its very first appearance as the North Texas Ceili. And while they have appeared at several Celtic festivals across the country, they are always happy when it’s time to play again at NTIF!
