Southwest Celtic Music Association (SCMA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting, and celebrating the rich musical and cultural traditions of the seven Celtic nations—including Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Brittany, Cornwall, the Isle of Man, and Galicia.

Through live performances, educational programming, workshops, and community events, SCMA supports traditional musicians, dancers, and cultural artists while creating accessible opportunities for people of all ages to experience Celtic heritage firsthand.

SCMA is also the founding organization of the North Texas Irish Festival, one of the largest and longest-running Irish music and culture festivals in the region. Proceeds from SCMA’s programs and fundraising directly support:

• Cultural and music education initiatives
• Youth and emerging artist development
• Scholarships and workshops
• Community performances and outreach
• The preservation of traditional Celtic arts for future generations
